Veto abilities

CROSSCUT

C

Place a vortex to teleport back to while you are in range and looking at it.

Press C and fire to place on the ground. In range, look at the vortex and press C again to return. During the buy phase, reclaim it to change the placement.

CHOKEHOLD

Q

A thrown trap holds enemies in place, deafening and decaying them.

Press Q and fire to throw into a route enemies will cross. The trap can be destroyed before it activates, so avoid leaving it exposed.

INTERCEPTOR

E

A placed device destroys eligible enemy utility once activated.

Press E and fire to place, then press E again to activate. It targets utility that bounces off players or can be destroyed by gunfire. Enemies can shoot the device.

EVOLUTION

X

Mutate to gain a combat stim, regeneration and immunity to debuffs.

Press X to begin the mutation. Take cover while it starts and keep using cover in the fight: immunity to debuffs does not stop bullets.

Meet Veto

Veto is a Sentinel from Senegal whose mutation lets him disrupt enemy powers and technology. A return vortex gives him a fallback while his trap and interceptor contest an approach.

The official GIVE THEM NOTHING trailer shows his blue mutation spreading across his face and body before he fights through an ambush.

Veto-inspired crosshair code

Two wide cyan blocks sit above and below an open center, with thin long rails on either side. No center dot. The rails help line up a shot; the broad blocks cover more vertical space.

In VALORANT, open Settings → Crosshair → Import Profile Code. Paste the copied code and select Import.
